Our first game of 2026 for Prostate Cancer UK
An amazing way to start the year, playing against a great bunch of lads and raising for an amazing cause. The score line speaks for itself, however, I cannot fault one players performance on the pitch, everyone played so well, and stayed extremely positive throughout. Massive well done to our oppositions pick, Razza with 4 goals! And a well done to our MLG Man of the Match Lewis A, great performance in the middle of the park. We raised £375 for Prostate Cancer UK, which is a great amount considering the late kick off, well done all, and see you at the next one.

Long Eaton Mess
The final charity fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support
A great day of football considering we had two teams drop out prior to this game. Luckily Long Eaton Mess stepped in last minute and we had a very enjoyable game of football. The result didn't go our way but it was still a fun one.

We also did our Christmas raffle and raised a record breaking £730 in one game, taking out total raised for Macmillan to £1,717!

Our second charity fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer support
Our second game of the season. More great football, more great vibes, and more money raised. We kicked of the day with our second mini game, the one touch challenge, which was a right laugh. Big thanks to Taz for arranging and Josh for videoing - be sure to watch the video on out YouTube channel. We then had special guests the Mayor and MP of Gedling attend the game which was an honour. The game was positive and so much fun the whole time. Big thanks to everyone involved and credit to the Gedling club for privately hosting us after the game!

One of the best days for both football but fundraising and vibes overall too! a 7-1 win with amazing football form every single person on the pitch. Ryan MOTM with some amazing football and two goals, as well as Barney being voted the All in Oppositions Player, well played.

£513.64 raised in one game for MacMillan, an amazing effort, big thanks to everyone that helped with the shop and those that donated. Special shout out to Matt North for the £100 donation!

An amazing day for our last game before out one year anniversary awards evening! A Snakes Red vs Snakes Black rematch. Snakes Black took the trophy away from Snakes Red with a 6-3 victory and some great football. Thank you so much to everyone involved!

An unfortunate day for the Snakes yesterday, with 6 on the day drop outs and no keeper, it wasn’t ideal, but not to take away from the great side Dawson that buried their chances and a big thanks to those that stepped up and helped! Not the positive vibes we needed… But we go again next time.

Sanj Kalia Cup for Cancer Research
A massive result for @nottinghamshirefcfp - they definitely showed up for Sanj’s charity game.
A record breaking amount raised by us and the lads from @nottinghamshirefcfp in one game for Cancer Research in honour of Sanj. £610 donated! A big thank you to everyone involved to make this happen 🖤🧡

Raising money for MUTED
A very hard game resulting in a loss to a great Notts Merry Men side, great passing and tactics. These boys had tactics down to another level. It was hard without a manager, but we kept battling and kept the score as close as we could. A great test for us, and a game to teach us a few lessons. Lovely bunch of lads, look forward to playing them again soon!

Probably one of our biggest games of the year, SEN have a high reputation and are an extremely good side. We turned up with a great attitude and a winning mentality, also coming with a very strong side. A massive result and some amazing goals that were luckily recorded! A great game against Community FC, a bit of a one sided fixture but we did play extremely well! Big credit to everyone involved considering the awful weather! We managed to raise £170 this match for @maggiesnottingham! After the next game, we’ll have a total amount to be able to donate to Maggie's!

Snakes United FC vs Edwalton Charity
Raising money for the British Heart Foundation
The final score against Edwalton Charity FC, didn’t feel like a 6-2 game but they played really well and clearly knew each others strengths! For a lot of us it was our first game for the team, and there were some really good bits, we just need to keep at it and form a bond as a team.
What it was all about, we raised around £150 (actually amount to be released soon), for Maggie's Cancer Support in Nottingham, so that’s something we should be extremely proud of. We’ll continue to raise money for these guys for the next 2 games

Our first ever game as an 11-a-side team
Our first ever 11 aside game was a success. Thanks to everyone involved for making this a reality, we really do appreciate it. Big thanks to @mansfieldfatstags for having us and hosting the game. It was a very physical game and we were tested on multiple occasions but we managed to come out on top. @oliver_seagrave had an incredible game on the right wing, scoring a hattrick for the Snakes! As well as @2lmmm.__ and Osman scoring great goals also. Midfield and Defense were steady too, but much to work on. A lovely worldy save from Harvey too! Cheers to @abswhotv_ for getting us a kit last minute 🙌
Considering our last-minute miss match team, we held our formation well and helped each other where we could. Big thanks to everyone that paid a little extra to help us set up the team, it’s much appreciated.
